Keen ("we", "our", or "us") is a Chrome extension and web service that helps Amazon sellers track product performance. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What We Collect

When you use the Keen extension to track an Amazon product, we collect the following publicly visible product data from the Amazon product page:

• Amazon product identifier (ASIN)
• Product title
• Brand name
• Listed price
• Best Sellers Rank (BSR)
• Review count and rating
• Number of sellers
• Product category
• Timestamp of the observation

We do not collect your name, email address, Amazon account credentials, purchase history, or any personally identifiable information through the extension.

How We Use It

Collected product data is used to:

• Power the trend analysis and insights shown inside the extension
• Build aggregated, anonymized market intelligence (e.g. category trend feeds)
• Improve the accuracy of demand and opportunity scoring

Data is aggregated across users to provide community-sourced historical context. No individual user's tracking activity is exposed to other users or third parties.

Local Storage

Your tracked product list and snapshot history are stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. This data does not leave your device except for the anonymized product metrics described above.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — stores anonymized product snapshots in a hosted database
• Vercel — hosts our serverless API functions
• Resend — sends transactional email (only if you subscribe to email updates)
• Mailchimp — manages email subscriber lists (only if you sign up on our website)

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We do not sell data to any third party.

Data Retention

Anonymized product snapshots are retained indefinitely to support historical trend analysis. You may request deletion of any data associated with your usage by contacting us.

Your Rights

You may:

• Uninstall the extension at any time — local data is cleared with it
• Request deletion of server-side snapshot data by emailing us
• Unsubscribe from email communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email

Children

Keen is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date.
